Silver Passover plate with border, chased with scrolling acanthus leaves and three cartouches with words engraved. The base is chased with a Passover scene. The illustration follows the one in the famous Amsterdam Haggadah from 1695. In the Amsterdam Haggadah it illustrates the five sages in Bnei Brak and is more or less a copy of Matthäus Merian’s illustration of the banquet Joseph gave for his brothers in Egypt

Base chased with scene of first Passover in Egypt with the Angel of Death "passing over" an Israelite house. On the floor of the pillared hall with chandelier is a wine flagon and kneading trough.
